Payroll Processor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable professional to support accurate and timely payroll operations. In this role, you will help ensure employees are paid correctly and on schedule while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and committed to delivering excellent service with a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time for assigned employee groups.
  • Review timekeeping data, wage calculations, deductions, and adjustments for accuracy.
  • Maintain payroll records and update employee information as needed.
  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, questions, and employee inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure payroll activities comply with internal procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports, summaries, and related documentation.
  • Assist with year-end processes, including tax forms and reporting support.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other teams to support payroll-related processes.
  • Support audits, reconciliations, and process improvements as needed.
  • Assist the office with miscellaneous accounting responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred.
  • Prior payroll, accounting, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, or Microsoft Excel is preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others.
